I also like to talk a little about technology, though I'm aware that some people don't care about the technology.  Those whose eyes don't glaze over, however, can't help but be impressed as we have some best-of-breed tech which is truly remarkable.

Our best security program is called ADT Command & Control, and is based on the DSC Qolsys IQ platform.

PowerG Mini Window Sensor

 system allows the adaptation and integration of existing hard-wired and wireless devices.  New devices will be Qolsys PowerG wireless series which are two-way 128-bit AES (encrypted, with 0.4 second frequency hopping), exhibit superior range (ideal for larger homes), allows power adaptation on-the-fly for extended battery life, bluetooth geofencing.  Software updates "over the air" provide enhanced capabilities as they become available without the need for a technician to visit, 128 zone capacity, 116 Z-wave device capacity, 242 codes, smoke/heat and CO sensors feature "one go - all go" internal sounders (85 db).

ADT's Control Interactive Solution integrates security and smart-home technologies in one package with one interface.  All interactive features are accessible through any Internet connected device:  computer (desktop or laptop); iPad, Android or Windows tablet; iPhone, Android or Windows phone; Google Personal Assistant, Google/Nest Hub and Hub Max. Intrusion, fire, critical conditions, cellular services, event messaging via SMS or e-mail are the basic features.  Additional features such as interactive video doorbell, live streaming video and lighting & climate controls, electronic remote-controlled garage doors and deadbolts… automated, scheduled, event-triggered or remote-operated manually through the smart-phone application are available.
